Lonely Elderly Canine Wanders Streets for a Decade with Massive Tumor, Suffering in Agony and Hopelessness, Yet Ignored by Everyone

While strolling down the road, he was found stranded with a gigantic tumor suspended from his abdomen, rendering him immobile. The thought of abandoning him in that condition was not an option.

The “Helen Summerfield-Brown” organization is a team of volunteers who selflessly dedicate their time and efforts to rescuing stray and neglected animals. They recently came across a dog in a very sorry state and immediately took action, arranging for the canine to be collected and rushed to a medical facility for urgent treatment.

Sadly, the dog’s condition was dire, and he had stopped eating due to a tumor that was causing him immense suffering. The team did everything in their power to provide him with much-needed medical attention and care.

When Midnight made it to the veterinary clinic, the doctors wasted no time in running some tests. They checked his blood, took X-rays, and did an ultrasound. The results were not great news though – poor Midnight had several issues to deal with. He was infested with hookworms, struggling with anemia, and suffering from malnourishment.

In addition, due to the critically low levels of his blood platelets, the medical team was unable to carry out an operation to extract the tumor as it would have posed a fatal risk. The urgency of the situation is further compounded by the tumor’s rapid growth rate. Comprehensive blood examinations are being conducted to ascertain the ideal timing for the surgery. Midnight is a beloved child who is cherished by all.

The operation that took place at midnight went well, and the growth that was removed was actually a tumor in the testicles. It was quite sizable, weighing in at around 4.85 pounds.

The Vet expressed their joy in relieving the burden from Midnight’s fragile body. Midnight was able to take a few steps after the surgery, making them proud. The Vet also shared their love and commitment to doing everything possible to assist Midnight.

Midnight’s condition is getting better by the day, and he will soon be available for adoption! A big thank you to all who have helped Midnight on his journey so far. Your generosity is greatly appreciated!
